The Material
Our GRS certified recycled teddy material comes from post-consumer waste like plastic bottles. Our supplier collects used water bottles, cleans leftover residue, sorts by color and grades, then shreds the plastic. This shredded content then enters a machine that creates fine fibers that sort of resemble wool. Once the fibers are carded (just a processing term that means the fibers are getting properly aligned and detangled), it's ready to be spun into a new yarn! And there you have it — soft recycled teddy garments!

Breathability - Low
Breathability - Low
Fabrics with this quality are able to transmit moisture through the material, keeping you warm in the cold and cool in the warmer temperatures.
Gauge - Cut & Sew
Gauge - Cut & Sew
The term "gauges" is a measurement used when referring to the stitching in knitwear. A smaller gauge will result in a sweater with a tighter stitch, while a larger gauge will result in a sweater with a looser stitch.
Odor Blocking - Low
Odor Blocking - Low
Some odors tend to "stick" or absorb easier into certain fabrics. Fabrics that have odor blocking properties won't absorb any unwanted smells.
Pilling - Minimal
Pilling - Minimal
The natural fibers in the wool and cashmere tend to slough off while wearing. Over time this process helps the fabric get even softer. We suggest pairing with our cashmere de-pilling comb.
Weight - Heavy
Weight - Heavy
How dense or thin the fabric feels. Our fabrics range from featherlight to very heavyweight.
Wrinkle Free - Yes

Natural fibers such as wool, cashmere, and silk contain properties that resist wrinkles when the fabric is taken care of properly.
